تعد لعبة كرة القدم من الألعاب الجماعية التي تتطلب امتلاك مهارات حركية ومعارف فنية وقانونية تساعد الطالب على حسن الأداء في أثناء التطبيق العملي، ومن هنا برزت أهمية استخدام أنموذج تسريع التفكير بأسلوب التعلم التعاوني داخل الدرس التعليمي، وتمثلت مشكلة البحث بضعف استخدام الأساليب التدريسية الحديثة داخل درس كرة القدم، فضلاً عن وجود ضعف في مستوى الأداء المهاري والتحصيل المعرفي لدى طلبة السنة الدراسية الثالثة في كلية التربية البدنية وعلوم الرياضة، ويهدف البحث إلى التعرف على أثر أنموذج تسريع التفكير بأسلوب التعلم التعاوني في تعلم بعض المهارات الحركية والتحصيل المعرفي بكرة القدم، التعرف على الفروق في الاختبارات البعدية بين المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة في تعلم بعض المهارات الحركية والتحصيل المعرفي بكرة القدم.
استخدم الباحث المنهج التجريبي بتصميم المجموعتين المتكافئتين ذات الاختبارين القبلي والبعدي، واشتملت عينة البحث على (50) طالباً تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين تجريبية وضابطة بواقع (25) طالباً لكل مجموعة. وتم تطبيق البرنامج التعليمي لمدة (8) أسابيع.
وأظهرت النتائج تفوق المجموعة التجريبية في المهارات الحركية والتحصيل المعرفي مقارنة بالمجموعة الضابطة. واستنتج الباحث فاعلية أنموذج تسريع التفكير بأسلوب التعلم التعاوني في تطوير الأداء المهاري والمعرفي لدى الطلبة. وأوصى الباحث بضرورة اعتماد النماذج والأساليب التعليمية الحديثة في تدريس كرة القدم داخل كليات التربية البدنية وعلوم الرياضة
