A proposed vision for the role of smart applications in managing and developing Iraqi sports institutions
Abstract
This research aims to identify the role of smart applications in managing and developing sports institutions in Iraq. Researchers used a descriptive methodology and selected a random sample of 150 individuals from various sectors, including sports clubs, youth centers, and sports federations. Data was collected using a questionnaire. Key findings indicate that smart technologies improve administrative and operational processes through the use of artificial intelligence in data analysis and strategic decision-making, and the implementation of Human Resource Management (HRM) systems to monitor employee and athlete performance. Among the most important recommendations are the need to allocate sufficient budgets for infrastructure and software, and the necessity of conducting training courses to develop the digital and technological skills of employees in sports institutions.
