The effect of explosive strength exercises on some physical abilities and the level of artistic performance in Parkour gymnastics
Abstract
The research aims to reveal the effect of explosive strength exercises on a number of physical abilities and the level of artistic performance in Parkour gymnastics for youth, as well as on a number of physical abilities and the level of technical performance in Parkour gymnastics between the experimental and control groups in the post-test .
The research indicates the use of explosive strength exercises, which are considered one of the most important components of athletic achievement, and not using them in a scientifically studied manner generated among the researchers the idea of using explosive strength exercises to develop a number of physical abilities and the level of artistic performance in Parkour gymnastics. The researchers used the experimental method to suit the nature of the research. The research sample consisted of Mosul Parkour gymnastics players in Nineveh Governorate, youth category, numbering (24) players, and they were randomly divided into two groups (experimental and control), with (12) players for each group, in addition to selecting (5) players to conduct exploratory experiments on them. Statistical methods were used in the research and processed by relying on the statistical package (spss).
